Let the Good Times Roll this Mardi Paws!Join us for a family-friendly shoebox parade float contest and celebrate Mardi Gras with a creative twist!
This year’s Mardi Paws theme is "Springfield Celebrates Food!" Inspired by Soulard Mardi Gras, we're shining a spotlight on Springfield’s one-of-a-kind food scene and its most iconic dishes.
How to Participate?
Design and decorate your very own shoebox parade float! Draw inspiration from classic Mardi Gras traditions, a feline-inspired masterpiece, or Springfield’s legendary foods (especially the horseshoe!). You can design your own at home or at the cat café during the event.
Awards and prizes will be given for the most creative and crowd-favorite floats, with exciting café goodies and contributions from generous local sponsors.
All entries will be proudly displayed during our March 4th fundraiser event for everyone to admire.
Submission deadline is 5:30 PM on event day to be eligible for judging.
Entry is FREE with café admission. We’ll have some crafting supplies and extra shoeboxes available, but feel free to bring your own materials!
