March's Rise and Write

Some FAQs about Rise and Write:

- There’s no pressure to share your work, but we’re happy to discuss all things writing!

- No need to hit a certain word count.

- You can bring a notepad or laptop – there’s WiFi and plenty of charging points.

- Anyone who identifies as a woman or as non-binary is welcome to attend. We are an LGBTQ+ safe space and trans inclusive.

Women Who Write’s mission is to give women and non-binary writers the time and space to write. We know that writing in the company of others generates energy, inspiration and motivation – everything needed to put words on the page.

We also know it can be challenging to maintain a consistent writing practice, which is what we hope to create through our regular and routine events.

We host our retreats and writing sessions to give your writing the time and space it needs. There’s no pressure to share your work, hit a word count, use a laptop, or be published or professional. We welcome all writers, at all stages of their practice.
