MICHAEL AIKEN TEXILAKE (he/they)
Michael Aiken Texilake is a dedicated parent of four. He is also the author of two poetry collections: ‘A Vicious Example’, which was shortlisted for the NSW Premier’s Kenneth Slessor Prize, and ‘The Little Book of Sunlight and Maggots’. He received the Australian Book Review Laureate’s Fellowship to write his verse novel, ‘Satan Repentant’, for which he was selected and mentored by David Malouf. He last saw a wild fox in early October, 2024.
ROSIE BOGUMIL (she/they)
She may call herself the trigger warning walking, but Rosie Bogumil writes unapologetically about mental illness. She delights in confusing people with her many interests and is proudly the only poet-physiotherapist that she knows of. Rosie is fascinated by the interplay between page and stage and her first poetry collection Decorating Pain was published in 2021. She overshares on the internet under the moniker @realrosiebee.
