Come join us each Monday night at the Firefighters Banquet Hall. Each week will start with classes that brush up and build on as the month proceeds. Please arrive early, classes will begin promptly at 7pm.DJ Gilbert will be spinning the swing for our social dance tonight! We will be celebrating ACSR Anniversary in addition to St. Patrick's Day tonight! Be sure to wear green, and bring some of your favorite treats to share!
DJ night is perfect to practice moves you are perfecting and learning, or even grab a dance with your instructor to get feedback! Come get your cardio and steps in on the dance floor and start the week off with your ACSR community!

๐๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: This 6-count dance is where it all starts! This class is available every Monday night. East Coast 1 is perfect if you are new to swing dancing and want to begin your dance journey. This class will cover the main fundamentals of swing dancing such as basic posture, pulsing, weight transferring & core engagement.
Lindyhop 1

๐๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: Once you have a firm understanding of the basics, begin to learn this more advanced 8-count dance and the famous swing-out! Lindy can be danced to slow or fast music, often blending several styling including 6-count and Charleston.
Solo Jazz

๐๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: Build a strong foundation learning the building blocks of swing. Derived from a blending of tap and jazz moves, this class for all levels will build confidence in solo jazz moves that can performed independently, added to partner dance, and utilized in line dances like the Shim Sham and Tranky Doo!
NOTE: While these classes are available each week, please know that it takes personal commitment to improve your dancing. This may include self-practice, group practices, or private lessons with instructors. Growth requires pushing your limits & testing your potential. Dance is no exception to this rule. Each of our instructors began at the exact same place as you did!

The San Antonio Fire Fighter's Banquet Hall is located on the access road of West I-10 right next to the ramp that leads down from Medical Drive on the right side.

The SAFFBH parking can fit up to 100 vehicles. The parking lot is directly outside of the building on the left side. There is also additional parking on the right side.

We have been given permission from the SA Firefighters Association to allow our guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages. Water bottles & sodas will remain for sale.
NOTE: We have the right to deny entry or to escort guests out of the premises if we feel they are above the legal intoxication limit, are disturbing the peace, or are attempting to serve alcohol to minors. Keep in mind that this is an all-ages event and while we allow adults to bring their own beverages we must remind everyone to be responsible and follow the law.
