RAD Women’s Self- Defense
Date: Monday/ Wednesday | March 16, 18, 23 and 25/ 6-9PM
Location: Marietta Police Department | 240 Lemon St, Marietta, Ga 30060
The Marietta Police Department is dedicated to protecting its citizens in every way possible. While our focus is on finding ways to fight and prevent crime, we are also dedicated in finding ways to educate the public. Marietta Police Department is now offering a 12-hour Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) class. R.A.D. is a simple yet effective self-defense course for women only. The techniques are designed to be quick and effective in delivering pain to vulnerable locations on the attacker’s body. The course is designed so that women of all fitness levels and ages will successfully learn options to escape attacks. R.A.D. is a twelve-hour course, delivered over 4-three-hour classes. Participation in all four classes is necessary to complete the course.
Must be 14 years of age (parent or female guardian must attend with anyone 16 and under); no jewelry is allowed during class. Gym attire is recommended.
Please email Major Gretchen Ingram at [email protected] with any questions you may have.
This will sign you up for all four days.
