📢 Calling all planty parents and newbies! We are back to normal hours.(Volunteer via link below)
Join us for one great afternoon plant swap as we return to our summer hours of our 3PM-5PM schedule. Bring your vibrant indoor plants, fresh cuttings, rooted seedlings, or extra seeds to trade with fellow enthusiasts. This is the perfect opportunity to diversify your plant collection and meet like-minded plant lovers in the community.
Don’t worry if you don’t have plants to swap—your presence is what matters! Even if you're just starting your plant journey, come and enjoy the community vibes, learn from others, and get inspired.
Expect a fun-filled day surrounded by fellow plant enthusiasts, exchanging not just plants but also tips, tricks, and stories. You’ll find a variety of plants and gardening items up for trade, participate in interactive workshops, and enjoy the vibrant community spirit. (See what workshop is scheduled for this month below.) Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a newbie, there's something for everyone.
Here’s a list of items we exchange (not limited to), but feel free to get creative:
• seedlings
• seedling pots
• plants
• cuttings
• seeds
• unused soil
• used or unused kits
• fertilizer
• sandwich bags
• snack bags
• plant markers
• unused toothpicks
• unused skewers
• coffee grounds
• pine needles
• straw
• cleaned and sanitized glass food jars
• cleaned and sanitized rotisserie containers
• etc.
We also encourage you to bring any gardening tools, books, or accessories that you think might be useful to others. Let’s make this plant swap a summer highlight—full of green growth, knowledge sharing, and community spirit. See you there!

This month, we’re inviting local businesses, nonprofits, and school programs to join us in a unique way. These incredible guests won’t be selling anything but will be sharing their knowledge, stories, and passion with our community. This is more than just an opportunity to learn—it’s a chance to build meaningful connections, celebrate the amazing work happening around us, and support one another in growing together. Let’s embrace this new chapter of collaboration, where small businesses and programs can connect with us, and we can discover the heart of what they do. Together, we’re not just swapping plants; we’re cultivating community.
