Each year on March 17, thousands of Americans flood cities clad in green for parades, pub crawls and general merriment to celebrate the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick. But he’s not the only holy person honored on this day: March 17 is also the feast day of St. Gertrude of Nivelles who is recognized as the unofficial patron saint of an important member of many households: cats. She is also considered a protector of travelers and gardeners and, according to legend, once saved devotees from a sea monster!Celebrate St Gertrude by visiting us for our March Meet & Greet and see a couple of our gorgeous cats looking for great new homes. Drop on in for some "cat chat" and see what we have to offer.
All our cats we offer for adoption are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLv & FIV, UTD on vaccines and fostered in a home environment. We offer cats and kittens age 15 weeks and older for adoption to loving homes as family pets only.
You can complete an Adoption Request online at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form or contact us at [email protected]. You can access a complete list of adoptable cats from PAWS-OK at https://www.adoptapet.com/.../76915-pet-adoption-and... If you see one you would especially like to meet let us know and we'll see if we can arrange for them to attend this event
