Join us at the Ted Moorhead Lagoon House as Yagen Gutierrez of the Brevard Zoo presents about applied field work in Brevard County for shorebird conservation efforts. This presentation will highlight the community-driven efforts to protect shorebird nesting habitat along Florida's coast through monitoring, partnerships, and proactive management. By working with local agencies, property owners, and volunteers, conservation organizations are reducing disturbances to vulnerable species such as Least Terns and Black Skimmers. Given the limited seating in the Lagoon House and an increased demand for in-person tickets, there is a $5 in-person attendance fee. Please feel free to bring your own lunch.
