Be “In the Outdoors” all season long, rain or shine, you can’t go wrong! It’s great for all ages, through all of life’s stages. Bring your scout group, or your whole family. Experience all that Atwood Park has to offer during a FREE monthly series of activities that highlight different aspects of the park. Bring the entire family for a few hours of fun in nature!
Living off the land takes a lot of knowledge and skills in various areas. Learn the skills of archery and tomahawk throwing at Atwood Park, and become a weekend warrior! Take aim at our targets; the crowds will roar, but no worries here, since no one keeps score! Come give it a try; we'll show you some tricks as your arrows fly and your tomahawk sticks! We'll provide the equipment - just bring yourself and strike your best Robin Hood or brave pose! Archers must be at least five years old, and tomahawk tossers must be seven years old.
Please meet at Atwood Center (2685 New Milford School Road) and bring comfortable closed-toe or closed-heel shoes, appropriate weather clothing, and an excitement for adventure!
In the Outdoors events are supported by Rock River Disposal. Pre-registration is high recommended and appreciated.
