Celebrate the return of spring on a guided hike honoring the Vernal Equinox—the moment when day and night are nearly equal and the natural world begins to wake up. As we explore the trails together, we’ll look for early signs of the season like budding trees, returning birds, emerging wildflowers, and fresh animal tracks. Along the way, we’ll talk about what the equinox means, how plants and animals respond to changing daylight, and the many ways people have welcomed spring throughout history.Meet in front of the Nature Center at 1pm. Hike is approximately one hour. Great for families but not stroller friendly.
Members are free but need to register. Non-members are $7.00.
