Join us for the largest March for Meals in the country, rain or shine, on Saturday, March 28, at the Kleiner Park Amphitheater behind the Village at Meridian!One in six seniors in America faces hunger or food insecurity on a regular basis. That means more than 60,000 seniors in Idaho struggle with hunger. A short walk through Kleiner Park will provide nutritious meals for homebound seniors.
There is no entry fee to march. Meals on Wheels Metro Boise will receive a donation for each person present thanks to March for Meals sponsor Horizon Credit Union. "Marchers" with the most spirit (costume, noise, or enthusiasm) will also compete for Horizon's "Spirit Award." Additional sponsors include 101.5 KOOL FM and Shamrock Foods.
Bring your friends and family to March for Meals as we celebrate how Meals on Wheels provides nutritious meals, safety, and independence for thousands of seniors in our community. We can't wait to see you there!
