Earth Happenings are micro-events that mindfully connect people to the planet in support of Life Wild & Free. Educationally-based, these are free, family friendly outdoor opportunities to learn, grow, share & connect with environmental educators, eco-organizations & earth-based makers with activities, information & inspiration to apply in your home habitat, daily living, broader community, or on your adventures in the great wide yonder.🌱 Earth Happenings take place outside -Rain or Shine- one Saturday each month, (October to December & March to June), in correlation with other special events taking place at Earth Artisan & Outfitter so you can extend your learning & continue your journey inside the shop - by gathering our awesome earth-based art, goods, gear & guides for home, garden & trail while you're here!
🌱 Our 1st Earth Happening of 2026 will kick off on Saturday March 21 from 12-4 during our Spring Open House with Kittantinny Ridge & Carlisle Borough's MS4 Water. This will be a great day to celebrate the season & enjoy Life in the bigger picture!
🌱 Earth Happenings on the horizon:
•April 25 during our Come Home To Earth Special with Carlisle Parks & Rec and The Wholesome Loaf who will have delicious home-made breads for sale
•May 9 during our Love Your Mother event in support of Earthy Mamas everywhere with the Duncannon Appalachian Trail Conservancy Club.
•June 6 during our Get Ready for Summer Adventure-our shop's last open day of the season- with Friends of Bosler Library & The Duncannon Appalachian Trail Conservancy Club.
🌱Earth Happenings are held rain or shine outside Earth Artisan & Outfitter, in the small Carlisle Borough lot adjacent to our shop on W. Chapel Ave in the wilds of historic downtown Carlisle, PA.
