We will be having our next German Dinner/Dance at the Liederkranz Club of Lansing on March 21. We will be celebrating not only the first day of spring but also St. Patrick's Day!Is St. Patrick’s Day celebrated in Germany? Absolutely! Not only have a sizable number of Irish ex-pats immigrated to Germany but also the Germans have long been known to celebrate the saints, enjoy any festival, the wearing of the green, drink a fine beer and toast Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona duit!
Get out your green, shine up your dance shoes, start dreaming about delicious sauerkraut, pork roast, spätzle (and more) and get ready for our second Dinner/Dance of 2026!
So let’s celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend like Germans!
~Delicious food 5-6:30
~Excellent German beverages all evening
~Wonderful music with Meridian Polka 6:00-?
~Viel Gemütlichkeit (lots of friendly good cheer)
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Everyone is welcome (you do not need to be a member to attend!)
