About this Event
The Chill Ride is meeting at the Boyd's Branch / Campground Connector parking area this month. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early to find your group. We'll do an overview of the trails we are riding, check our bikes, answer any questions, and then head out.
Important Details!
Skills / Experience Required: Beginner Ride skills, plus some practice of neutral position, ready/attack position, braking (one finger/gentle pressure) and level pedals. Experience riding on paved, gravel surfaces and some experience on green technical XC single track (including small roots and rocks)
Endurance Required: Ability to ride at least 5 miles on green XC single track in 1.5 hours with a few short breaks. Your fitness routine includes biking, running, or other cardio at least 2 times per week.
Can ride trails like Boyd Branch, Campground Connector and Explorer Loop.
