About this Event
A march break camp for children and teens aged 8-16. Includes arts and crafts all day with a break for lunch! The activities include Tye Dye Bags, Slim Time, Rock Pets and Painting Pots and Planting the seeds.
This will occur in the Oshawa Centre in the executive tower suite 203A. We will have a break for lunch where each child can either bring their own lunch or be escorted down to the food court to purchase their lunch. All activities will be taken home with the child/teen.

Welcome and Settle in, Icebreakers

Rock Pets
Info: Participants will choose two to three rocks that call to them or that they love. Painting supplies will be available for them to decorate their rock pets in whichever way they like. Examples will be available. Other supplies such as googly eyes, sparkles and gems will be available for use. We will seal these with mod podge and eave to dry while the rest of our activities continue.

Lunch
Info: Participants can either bring their own lunch or bring money and be escorted down to the food court to purchase their meals and return to the room to eat together. This is a great time for socializing as well.

Slime Time
Info: We will be going through the process of making slime with the basic ingredients! Then each participant will be able to choose colours, sparkles and other small addition to their slime if they would like! Time to create and have some fun with their slime is provided as well as a container to take home their slime!

Tie Dye Bags
Info: We will be using Cotton bags and Tie dye Liquid to tye dye Each participants bags in a way that they would like. Multiple different pattern options will be included as well as colour options. This will be sent home in a ziploc bag as it will need to sit for 24 hours before being washed for the dye to set. Printed instructions will be sent home as well.

Painting and Planting
Info: We will have different sized and shaped pots available for each participant to choose from. They will then have the opportunity to paint and decorate their pot as they desire! Other materials such as sparkles and gems will be available. We will then fill the pots with soil and the participant will be able to choose from a variety of seeds what they might like to grow. Care sheets will be provided to assist in optimal growing.
