Join us on Thursday, March 5th, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for our monthly Empowering Women in Business (EWB) Networking Meeting!!

Admission to EWB is FREE. However, due to limited seating, Eventbrite registration is required for all attendees.

We are excited to welcome our March Empowered Speaker and Sponsor, Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Carmen Reynolds, a military leader, investigative journalist, and civic advocate dedicated to lifelong service. She is nominated as Citizen of the Year by the Navarre Beach Area Chamber, and the nonprofit she founded, Friends of Santa Rosa Veterans Treatment Court, has also received a Nonprofit of the Year nomination.

As one of the first women admitted into the Air Force Security Police field, Reynolds helped pave the way for women in military law enforcement. She retired from Hurlburt Field as Deputy Dean of the Command and Control Warrior School, becoming the senior-ranking female on base. Her commitment to service continued in civilian life through elected and appointed leadership roles, including Holley-Navarre Fire Commissioner, Zoning Board member, and regional transportation planning advocate.

Reynolds graduated summa cum laude in Criminology & Law Enforcement and earned a master’s degree in Business Personnel Management. She later served as Editor-in-Chief of The Voyager at the University of West Florida, earning Florida Press Association awards for investigative reporting. Her work has advanced public accountability, environmental protection, and responsible development, including helping preserve 545 acres now designated the East Bay River Nature Preserve.

Inspired by caring for her disabled Vietnam veteran father, Reynolds led the five-year effort to establish the Santa Rosa County Veterans Treatment Court and continues hands-on advocacy connecting veterans to treatment, housing, and critical support services.
