I've been in technology and security since OpenBSD split from NetBSD—basically I'm just a graybeard (without a lot of gray or a full beard). When I’m not helping companies and security teams reduce risk exposures, I’m a husband, father of three, and technical cave diver—because exploring tight, dark, silty tunnels is somehow less stressful than cybersecurity. Oh, and I’m also a private investigator, so whether it’s cyber threats or real-world mysteries, I’m always chasing what’s hiding in the shadows, like those foxes who are after your chickens...
