March 17th Swing Dance on the StourCanterbury’s regular swing dance club returns in March on Tuesday 3rd and 17th to the atmospheric riverside Mooring Cafe & Bar, home to the Canterbury Punting Company. We will start the evening of the 17th with a class from special guest teacher Emma Claydon.
Featuring a great mix of Big Band Swing, Jump Jive, Boogie Woogie, Gypsy Jazz, Early Rhythm’N’Blues, Western Swing, Hillbilly Boogie, Broadway and Movie Melodies, Latin, Exotica and Calypso from the 1930’s to the 1950’s.
No strict dress code but vintage style is always appreciated.
Free entry, though any donation to the running of the evening is always welcome.
