Another wonderful marathon distance (26.2 miles) hike in the series on the Bank Holiday Monday 25th May. Starting and finishing in the historic town of Stratford upon Avon, the home of William Shakespeare, this beautiful route not only takes in the famous town centre but also parts of the River Avon, the Shakespeare's Avon Way trail, the Monarch's Way trail, Welcombe Hills Country Park, Snitterfield, Hampton Lucy and much more.We start at 8am and should finish around 5pm (9hrs in total with breaks) from the Recreation Ground car park in Stratford upon Avon (CV37 7LS). Fully guided throughout, this is a beautiful and historic hike, plus you get a fantastic Mountain Coach Marathon Series Medal for the effort and achievement.
