Comment penser les sentiments d'appartenance tout en honorant nos racines ?💭Pour ce troisième et dernier volet de la série, « Mapping My Way To Traces of Belonging », explore la notion de lien physique et imaginaire et nous invite à célébrer nos ancêtres.
La première partie de la soirée est dédiée au court-métrage « Rosa » de Sasha Huber qui honore la mémoire de Rosa Emilia Clay, la première personne d’ascendance africaine à obtenir la citoyenneté finlandaise.
Thi My Lien Nguyen vous propose ensuite une rencontre contemplative mêlant lecture, nourriture et méditation. Une invitation à ralentir et à explorer ce rôle que joue l’alimentation dans notre lien aux autres et à notre histoire.
Une soirée spéciale, où les deux artistes invitées accordent une place centrale aux récits invisibilisés et créent des espaces de dialogue où mémoire, communauté et transmission deviennent des formes de résistance et de résilience.

How can we reflect on feelings of belonging while honoring our roots?💭
For this third and final episode of the series, « Mapping My Way To Traces of Belonging » explores the concept of connection, both physical and imagined, and invites us to celebrate our ancestors.
The first part of the evening is dedicated to the short film “Rosa” by Sasha Huber which honours the memory of Rosa Emilia Clay, the first person of African descent to obtain Finnish citizenship.
Thi My Lien Nguyen then invites the audience to a contemplative encounter combining reading, food, and meditation. An invitation to slow down and explore the role that food plays in our connection to others and to our history.
A special evening, where the two guest artists give central prominence to marginalized narratives and create spaces for dialogue where memory, community, and transmission become forms of resistance and resilience.
