Join us November 7th at 4pm for a walk back in time to visit the spirits of those who shaped our local history.Join us for a tour of Maplewood Cemetery, Charlottesville’s oldest public burial ground. ACHS Programs Manager, Sterling Howell, will lead a "spirited" tour exploring the final resting places of some of Charlottesville’s most interesting deceased personalities. As the season changes and we look to our future, take part in a conversation about our past and what cemeteries, burial practices, and mortuary imagery reveal about how society and culture have changed over time.

Tour will begin at the Maple Street entrance to Maplewood Cemetery.
