Maple Weekend - North Grenvile returns to the Kemptville Campus sugarbush again!
Maple Weekend is a province-wide event presented by the Ontario Maple Syrup Producers' Association to encourage residents and tourists to visit maple syrup operations across the province the first weekend in April.
The Kemptville Campus - Agroforestry Centre is located at 2627 Bedell Road in the Peter Wensink Maple Forest. It is an 18 acre operating sugarbush. Both the forest and the operation are FSC certified which means we are held to the highest standards of international forest stewardship in our operations!
We produced over 2800 liters of Grade A Ontario maple syrup in 2025.
On The Bend Sugar Shack in partnership with the Kemptville Campus, The Kemptville Rotary Club and the Kemptville Youth Center will be offering tours of the operation, forest tours, PANCAKES with beans, sausage and fruit! , live music and other activities including taffy pulls!. Maple products will be available for sale on site. Breakfast seatings begin at 9:30am with with the last seating at 2:00pm. Proceeds from the breakfast will return to the community through donations to groups through the Kemptville Rotary Club.
Registration is Free and meal is by donation at a suggested amount of $13/adult and $7/child 10 years and under.
Register early to reserve your table. Tables inside the Agroforestry centre are restricted to 6 guests per table so that we can monitor capacity. Outdoor seating is available under tents as well for tables of up to 8 guests! PLEASE PURCHASE ONE TICKET TO RESERVE ONE TABLE. Payment for each meal will be taken at the door as you arrive.
