The Friends of Maplewood invite you to mark your calendars and join us at Maple Syrup Days on Saturday, April 11, from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. The event includes demonstrations on making maple syrup at the Sugar Shack, as well as educational stations set to learn more about the Maple syrup process. This is family-friendly event. It include how to identify maple trees by their branches, pioneer and Native American syruping processes, syrup taps throughout the years, data on Maple syrup production in Minnesota, and more. You can even taste real maple syrup on some delicious ice cream. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
The event is free but you need a MN State Park vehicle pass to enter Maplewood State Park. Spend the day learning about Maple syrup with us at Maplewood State Park and at Vergas at their Maple Syrup Fest event.
