Le 1er juillet 2026, à 11h, la Coalition contre le logement cher (COLOC) tient sa toute première manif-action, simultanément à 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲́𝗮𝗹 et à 𝗤𝘂𝗲́𝗯𝗲𝗰.
Pour la ville de Québec :
📍𝐋𝐢𝐞𝐮 𝐝𝐞 𝐝𝐞́𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 : Devant le Tribunal administratif du logement (TAL) au 900 Boul. René-Lévesque E, un symbole criant de l'échec des protections des locataires !
📦𝐏𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐨𝐢 𝐥𝐞 𝟏𝐞𝐫 𝐣𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭 ?
Parce que c'est la journée des déménagements. Le jour où la crise du logement cher ne peut être ignorée, où des milliers de locataires se retrouvent à la rue. Pendant ce temps, le gouvernement du Québec ne prend pas les mesures qui s'imposent, il empire la situation.
À l'approche des élections, aucun parti ne pourra contourner la question du logement. Le 1er juillet, on le leur rappelle.
✊𝐍𝐨𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
On exige des solutions structurantes, à la hauteur de la crise : Un réel contrôle des loyers au Québec. Le développement massif du logement social. L'inscription du droit au logement dans la Charte des droits et libertés.
𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐮𝐭 (𝐞𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐭) 𝐞̂𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐚̀ !
Locataires, jeunes, familles, aîné·es, allié·es syndicaux et communautaires, citoyen·nes solidaires : c'est votre manif-action. Notre moment.
Du transport sera organisé depuis plusieurs régions. Contactez votre comité logement local.

On lance une vague de bannières sur les balcons et aux fenêtres du Québec. Affiche ta participation. Le principe est simple : une bannière (qui peut être une bâche bleue, en hommage à la lutte des locataires du Manoir Lafontaine), un message court, un appel.

On July 1st, 2026, at 11am, the Coalition Against High Housing Costs (COLOC) holds its very first manif-action, simultaneously in 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲́𝗮𝗹 and 𝗤𝘂𝗲́𝗯𝗲𝗰.
For Québec city :📍𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭: In front of the TAL (900 Boul. René-Lévesque E) : a glaring symbol of the failure to protect tenants!
📦𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝐬𝐭?
Because it's moving day. The day when the housing crisis can no longer be ignored — when thousands of tenants find themselves out on the street. Meanwhile, the Quebec government isn't taking the necessary action. It's making things worse.
With elections on the horizon, no party will be able to sidestep the housing question. On July 1st, we're reminding them.
✊𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬
We demand real, structural solutions — ones that match the scale of this crisis:
True rent control in Quebec. To stop tenants from being pushed into poverty.
Massive investment in social housing. So that everyone can have a roof over their heads.
The right to housing enshrined in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. So the law actually protects it.
𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 (𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝) 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞!
Tenants, youth, families, seniors, union and community allies, solidarity citizens: this is your manif-action. Our moment.
Transportation will be organized from several regions. Contact your local housing committee.

We're launching a wave of banners on balconies and in windows across Quebec. Show your solidarity. The idea is simple: a banner (a blue tarp works great, as a nod to the tenant struggle at Manoir Lafontaine), a short message, a call to action.
Two suggested messages — but all creative ideas are welcome:

"I'm paying too much! Are you? Come rally with the Coalition Against High Housing Costs. July 1st, 11am, in front of the TAL."
