He graduated from The Joe Kubert School, an art institution specializing in sequential art that was founded by his grandfather and legendary comic book artist Joe Kubert. Kubert co-created the character SGT. ROCK for DC Comics. Currently, Orion is illustrating a horror Christmas anthology titled Silent Nightmares, edited by Michael Bailey and Chuck Palahniuk (the author of Fight Club). He previously illustrated The Stone Man Mysteries, a young adult horror mystery graphic novel trilogy co-written by New York Times best-selling author Jane Yolen and Adam Stemple.
