Mandala Art
A mandala is a complex abstract design that is usually circular in form. In this workshop, we will explore the art of creating beautiful and intricate mandala designs. You will be guided through the process of drawing mandalas, with a focus on the different elements that make up these stunning circular designs. We will cover topics such as symmetry, patterns, repetition, and color, as well as provide you with step-by-step instructions to create your own mandalas. You will learn techniques for creating intricate designs using simple shapes and patterns.
Bring a sketch book or small drawing pad, HB, aka No.2 or harder pencil, a good eraser either kneaded or rubber, micron pens or some other fine liner pen brand, and fine tipped markers or coloring pencils if you want to add color to your mandala. If you struggle creating circles, bring a compass, and a ruler if you struggle with straight lines. You don't have to, but it will be helpful.
