HUDEL Community Sports Day – Manchester
The HUDEL Community Sports Day is a celebration of sport, community, and friendly competition in Manchester. Hosted at the Trafford Athletics Track in Longford Park, the event will bring people together for a day of athletics races, team challenges, and fun games for all abilities.
Whether you're coming to compete, support friends, or simply enjoy a day of sport, the event is designed to create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere where people can connect through physical activity.
Organised and sponsored by HUDEL, alongside other partners, the event aims to encourage healthy living, community engagement, and positive social connections through sport.

The athletics stadium is located inside Longford Park, one of Trafford’s largest parks, just outside Manchester city centre.
By Car
The venue is easily accessible via the M60 motorway.
From the M60, leave at Junction 7 (Stretford) and follow signs for Stretford / Chorlton (A56). Continue towards Stretford and then follow signs for Longford Park. Turn onto Ryebank Road, where the athletics stadium is located within the park.
Parking is available around the park and surrounding residential streets.

The closest tram stops are:
Stretford Metrolink Stop – approximately a 15 minute walk
Chorlton Metrolink Stop – approximately a 15–18 minute walk
Both stops are on the Altrincham – Manchester line.
From Stretford stop, walk south along Edge Lane and follow signs towards Longford Park.
By Bus
Several bus routes stop near Longford Park:
255 / 256 – Manchester City Centre to Stretford
21 / 23 – Manchester to Chorlton / Trafford area
Get off near Edge Lane or Stretford town centre and walk approximately 10–15 minutes to Longford Park.
