Manchester Walk Club - by Agency Folk (26th Nov)
It’s time for our festive walk around Manchester.
This walk is in support of Wood Street Mission as part of their Christmas appeal.
We’ll be avoiding the chaos of the Christmas Markets, but hopefully still feel the festive spirit 🎄
The walking route is just under 60 mins, all on the flat, starting at the Museum of Science and Industry and finishing just off Deansgate. More than enough to get your steps in but hopefully won’t tire you out for the day.
From the Museum, we’ll head towards Salford and walk around the AO Arena, before heading back down to Deansgate.
We’ll finish at Wood Street Mission’s HQ for a little tour of their facilities and Christmas shop, to understand the great work they do to support facilities around Manchester. You are welcome to bring a donation (no obligation).
So come along to meet new people, make new connections and discover ways to collaborate. Whether you want to talk business development and sales tactics, cash flow and client satisfaction, or just want to have chat about agency life, now’s your chance.
It's an opportunity to share joys and stresses of agency leadership with fellow senior leaders.
For anyone who wants a caffeine fix or something cool and refreshing, Wood Street Mission have kindly offered to provide some hot drinks and biccies 😊
Please wear comfortable shoes and well-behaved dogs are very much welcome!

Who should attend? Primarily agency leaders (directors and decision-makers). However, this event is also open to ex-agency folk and those connected to agencyland such as consultants, advisors and coaches as it's all pretty informal. Claire has nearly 20 years’ experience working in agencies. She now works with growing agencies to help bring some clarity to the chaos of growing an agency. She works with leaders to bring some structure to their ways of working, helping to tackle that growing list of ‘stuff’ that will help their agency to mature, but have never quite managed to get to.
Claire also supports agencies with their people needs addressing challenges like line management and difficult conversations, as well as being actively involved initiatives which aim to tackle the industry’s diversity problem.
