Practical Considerations following the implementation of Simplified Costs Budgeting - PD51ZG1
The Manchester Business and Property Courts Forum is delighted to invite you to a seminar
delivered by District Judge Banks, and Thomas Walsh and Alex Clapp of County Cost
Consultants, who will be providing an update on the practicalities of the implementation of
the pilot scheme for costs budgeting in certain Business and Property Courts (PD51ZG1).
The seminar will focus on the role of the assumptions, the link to the shorter trials scheme
(PD57AB), the application of the pilot scheme (to Part 7 claims), and penalties to parties
who overbudget.
Thomas Walsh is an accredited CPD trainer, and attendance can be logged as qualifying
training.
The event will be hybrid and is taking place in person at 23 Essex Street Chambers and
remotely via Microsoft Teams. This event will start at 8:30am and finish at 9:15am with
coffees and pastries available from 8:15am.
