Manchester Beethoven Orchestra’s summer concert starts with Dvořák’s Carnival Overture, one of three overtures the composer wrote late in life. As the title suggests, this is a lively and joyful piece. Next comes Mendelssohn’s First Piano concerto which offers a number of opportunities for some virtuosity as well as beauty. They’ll finish with Tchaikovsky’s great Symphony No.5.Seating for this show will be unallocated.
