About this Event

Don’t let imposter syndrome hold you back from reaching your full potential. In this session Kim will explain what imposter syndrome is, the symptoms and the costs to yourself and your organisation. Kim will share ways to manage imposter syndrome, which will build your confidence and help you to flourish at work.

Bio for Kim

Kim Furnish MSc is a Life Coach and Social Entrepreneur. Her Social Enterprise, Instar Coaching C.I.C. brings the science of positive psychology to life, to individuals and communities. Kim draws upon her experience as a relationship counsellor, parenting specialist and family behavioural therapist to inform her work. Her specialism is in the areas of relationships, emotional intelligence, self-care, social enterprise and positive psychology. Kim shares the skills and strategies of positive psychology through online and in-person courses, meditation and self-care courses, laughter yoga sessions, 1-1 and group life coaching.

Kim is co-author of the book ‘Parenting a Violent Child’ which aims to improve family relationships and an E Book ‘Life’s Gifts’ which aims to improve the relationship you have with yourself. She is co-presenter of the podcast, Positivity: A Work in Progress, where she discusses positive psychology and personal development with fellow Social Entrepreneur Vie Portland.
