We’re stepping back into the glorious mess of the aughts for a drag show tribute to a time Tumblr ruled the internet and American Apparel was the very height of all fashion. So -->> side sweep your bangs, set your digital camera to flash, and draw a moustache on your finger because March 28th we’re bringing the indie sleaze era to the stage!!!

This event is being held on the stolen, ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Skxwú7mesh-ulh, and Tsleil-Waututh nations. As we live and organize queer space as settlers on these lands, we have an obligation to continuously work to repair harms perpetrated upon Indigenous communities, presently and historically. The Birdhouse strives to work with and give back to Indigenous communities in all that we do. Partial proceeds from this event will be donated to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre.

Flashing and moving lights at this event. Entrance is ground level through double doors with a wheelchair accessible entrance/exit (double doors 70 in. wide, single door is 35 in). There are no stairs or steps throughout the venue. All washrooms are all genders. The wheelchair accessible washroom on site. Seating available - please feel free to ask security or door staff if you ever require a seat and would like staff assistance in finding a seat.
