#MiMadre is turning 70 this year! As many of you know, she’s in the early stages of Alzheimer’s and that disease moves on its own timeline. There are no guarantees of “later,” which is why doing this now feels right. I also believe this will be the first time she has had a birthday party...at least she hasn't had one in the past 40 years lol. Please wear a splash of any shade of green. Her favorite color is green and she would get a kick of people coming out and wearing her favorite color. Dres it up or dress it down, being comfortable is what's important.
I'm excited for her to see familiar faces and of course get her dance on!
