A brit metal színtér élharcosa, a Malevolence Budapestre érkezik.A brit modern metal színtér egyik legmeghatározóbb zenekara, a Malevolence 2026. június 10-én Budapesten, az A38 Hajón a magyar közönségnek is bebizonyítja, hogy miért figyel már rájuk az egész világ az elmúlt években. A banda jövő nyári koncertje igazi zúzós, intenzív élményt ígér a hazai közönségnek.
Észak-Angliából indult pályájuk, ami az elmúlt években rakétasebességgel ívelt felfelé. Olyan zenekarokkal turnéztak világszerte, mint a Mastodon, Trivium, Architects vagy a Thy Art Is Murder, és sorra adták a teltházas headliner bulikat Európa-szerte. Budapesten már többször láthatta őket a közönség, legutóbb nem is akárhol, a Budapest Arénában játszottak, ahová a világhírű Five Finger Death Punch vendégeként érkeztek. A Malevolence mára a modern metal színtér egyik legmeghatározóbb erejévé vált, amely sajátos, súlyos groove-okkal ötvözött brutális hardcore energiáját viszi minden alkalommal a közönség elé. Az idei évben negyedik, 11 trekket rejtő lemezükkel jelentkeztek, a Where Only The Truth Is Spoken egy brutális, elsöprő anyag, amely igazán csúcsra járatta egyedi hangzásvilágukat. Az albumról már 2024-ben megismerhették a rajongók a Trenches című számot, amely új szintre emelte a groove központú hardcore hangzásukat: egy nyers, kompromisszummentes dal, amely megmutatja, hogy a zenekar a nagyobb fesztiválok és arénák ellenére sem távolodott el underground gyökereitől. A számot a Grammy-díjas producer, Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Korn, Gojira) közreműködésével rögzítették.
„A Trenches talán a legagresszívebb és legőszintébb dalunk. A szöveg arról szól, hogy nincs szükségünk senki jóváhagyására. Emlékeztetni akartuk az embereket, hogy soha nem felejtjük el, honnan jöttünk.” – mondta el az énekes, Alex Taylor a dalról és a zenekar jelenlegi korszakáról.

One of the fastest-rising and most influential bands in British modern metal, Malevolence, will perform in Budapest on June 10, 2026, at A38 Ship, where they will prove to the Hungarian audience why the world has been paying so much attention to them in recent years. The band’s next show in Hungary promises an intense, crushing experience for local fans.
Their career began in Northern England and has skyrocketed in recent years. They have toured the world with bands such as Mastodon, Trivium, Architects, and Thy Art Is Murder, and have been playing sold-out headliner shows across Europe. They have already visited Budapest several times, last time performing at the Budapest Arena as special guests of the world-famous Five Finger Death Punch. Today, Malevolence has become one of the defining forces of the modern metal scene, bringing their unique blend of heavy grooves and brutal hardcore energy to the stage every time. This year, the band released their fourth album, Where Only The Truth Is Spoken, an 11-track, devastating, all-out record that pushes their distinct sound to its peak. Fans were already introduced to a song from the album in 2024: “Trenches,” which elevated their groove-centered hardcore sound to a new level — a raw, uncompromising track that shows the band has not drifted away from its underground roots despite playing bigger festivals and arenas. The track was recorded with Grammy-winning producer Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Korn, Gojira).
“Trenches is probably our most aggressive and honest song. The lyrics are about not needing anyone’s approval. We wanted to remind people that we never forget where we came from,” vocalist Alex Taylor said about the track and the band’s current era.
