A mala is a traditional strand of prayer beads used as a guide for meditation, often to focus the breath or to repeat a mantra, and based on the stone or material it is created with, can carry different qualities and energy within it. In this afternoon workshop with Speakeasy teacher, crystal specialist, and energy worker Megan Cannon of Moonmalas by Megan, you’ll get to choose from a selection of different crystals and materials to fabricate your own mala, learn about the healing properties of the crystals you choose, how to use them your mala for meditation, and more.
