The Pennsylvania Downtown Center's annual statewide Main Street conference is coming to Erie, and it's one you won't want to miss!If you work in community or economic development, serve on a board, hold elected office, or volunteer in your downtown, this conference was made for you.
Each year, this conference brings together revitalization practitioners from across the Commonwealth to learn, connect, and be inspired. In 2026, that means 250+ attendees, 40+ classroom and mobile sessions, and big, bold ideas about the future of downtowns and the neighborhoods around them, all with Erie's iconic bayfront as the backdrop!
Not familiar with the Main Street or Elm Street programs? They're Pennsylvania's frameworks for supporting downtown and neighborhood commercial district revitalization. If that sounds like the work you do, this conference is for you.
Registration includes breakfast and lunch on select days, keynote sessions, and a ticket to the Townie Award Dinner. The Townie Awards are an annual tradition recognizing Pennsylvania communities and individuals for outstanding revitalization projects, programs, and events. It's a highlight of the conference and a great way to celebrate the work happening across the Commonwealth.
