About this Event

In this talk, we will look at some of the amazing ways in which things that we need for our future lives will be made – locally, globally… and even off-planet!

If you look around where you are now, everything that you can see – unless it is a plant, a rock, a person or some other animal – has been manufactured. There is a whole, largely invisible, system spanning the globe that makes and delivers all of the products that we need or want. But the way this amazing system works is changing – mostly for the better, but sometimes in ways that are less good for us and our planet.
