About this Event
Do you manage or own a community asset like a community hall or garden or are thinking of doing so?
Could you benefit from attracting a wider audience?
Would your facility be a good ‘home’ for other community groups that are looking for a base?
This event will encourage you to look beyond your regular users to explore new audiences and new opportunities. Enterprise and business sometimes seem like alien terms to community groups, but learning how to take a more enterprising approach need not be scary and can open up new community work that is also sustainable.
Provided jointly by GCVS, CEIS and GSEN, this event will give you the chance to talk with leading experts in this field and hear practical examples from inspirational peer groups.
Refreshments will be provided
Please note this is an in-person event which will be held at the Albany Learning and Conference Centre
Our GCVS Sector Development free programme is targeted at small voluntary or community organisations based or delivering in Glasgow who would not otherwise have access to this expertise. We may support requests from other groups where space is available and at the discretion of the facilitator. You can check the eligibility criteria
