About this Event
Making the Most of 50 Things to Do Before You’re Five: A free, high-impact approach that strengthens what you already do; supporting children, families and the home learning environment.
This engaging one-day training session invites you to explore the true potential of the 50 Things to Do before You’re Five initiative.
With a strong focus on the Home Learning Environment (HLE), the session will provide practical strategies to help you build meaningful partnerships with parents, increase their confidence, and support them to recognise learning in everyday moments.
You’ll also explore how to guide families in understanding screen time through the 50 Things to Do 'Less Screen Time, More Play Time’ resource, encouraging healthier habits and more active play.
By the end of the session, you’ll have lots of simple, practical ideas you can use straight away, feel more confident in what you’re doing, and have a clear plan for using this free resource in your setting to support children and their families across Calderdale.
- Attendees can collect their free HLE bag, funded by Calderdale Council
- Fully funded, lunch included
