About this Event
A free Zoom workshop for parent-carers of young people aged 11 + with special educational needs or disabilities in West Sussex.
This workshop explores how your young person’s brain works, how hormones and puberty impact upon our children, how we can support them and respond to any behaviours that challenge during their adolescent years to achieve positive outcomes.
After booking - Once you have booked a place you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite. Prior to the workshop you will receive a Zoom link to access the session.
You will need to download Zoom in advance but you don’t need to set up an account if you don’t wish to. Zoom can be used on PC’s/Laptops and mobile devices such as iPad, phones and tablets.
If you have any questions, please get in touch and we will happily talk you through setting this up if required. E-mail [email protected].
If workshop is full - places can become available and we are very proactive at ensuring all places are taken on our workshops. In order to join the waitlist, please open Eventbrite via an internet browser, rather than using the Eventbrite app, in order to book yourself onto the waitlist.
Please note this workshop is funded by Reaching Families for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities in West Sussex only. It is not suitable for professionals.
