Course Description:

This course is designed to give basic understanding of Real Estate investing to allow Agents to invest in Real Estate themselves, or help clients with transactions involving Real Estate investment property, while helping to prevent them from making basic mistakes that could be financially disastrous.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Distinguish between a financially sound RE investment purchase and a financially irresponsible RE investment purchase.
• Analyze a Real Estate investment transaction
• Calculate basic costs for renovations
• Understand the finance options for RE investment transactions
• Identify exit strategies for RE investing
