About this Event

Please note: this event will be held in person.

This workshop invites you to try out zine making as a method of exploring and communicating lived experiences of mental and emotional distress. Taking a person-centred view and situating agency within each maker, the session will provide a space which fosters collaborative meaning making, creativity and connection. Together, we’ll use creative methods to tell our stories in our own voices.

The workshop is open to anyone with experience of mental or emotional distress. No artistic background is required — just curiosity and openness.

CW: Mental and emotional distress / self harm / suicide
