This month, participants will create their own custom log planter using woodshop tools and hands-on guidance from our team. Each participant will choose a provided succulent to plant in their handmade log creation — a perfect blend of craftsmanship and greenery!Everyone’s invited to join the fun! This project also counts as a Junior Maker activity, designed to welcome young creators (with adult supervision) into the world of making.
We’ll be opening our doors to visitors — drop in anytime between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM to build your planter, tour our 23,000-square-foot makerspace, and discover what we’re all about.
Entry donations of $3 per participant are greatly appreciated — and always met with a smile.
Many thanks to the Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation for their support in making this educational event possible!
