About this Event
Did you know that in 2025 there were just 21 women chief executive officers (CEOs) at FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies in the UK? National Women’s Enterprise Week seeks to challenge that and we in BIPC Leeds are on board. Join us for a morning of conversation with four thriving female-founded Leeds businesses, followed by a fantastic opportunity to network with other Leeds entrepreneurs on the wild ride that is founding your own business.
Schedule:
10:00: Arrival – tea, coffee, refreshments
10:25: Welcome – BIPC Leeds Team
10:30: Panel Q&A: Engage with local superstar entrepreneurs:
Mel Blackwood, founder of Skate Sanctuary
Chloe Mead, founder of Fling
Katie Geddes, founder of The Dance Studio
Louise Askin, founder of Lavender & Twine
11:30: Networking: Connect with fellow entrepreneurs from aspiring to thriving
The Librarian team will be on-hand if you’d like to discuss how the Business and IP Centre Leeds can help you start, develop or elevate your own business.
If you have any questions about the morning, please do not hesitate to contact the team at [email protected].
