Welcome to folks who are interested in learning how to support the well-being of the trees you live in community with.

What are some ways we can creatively contribute to the ecosystems we are part of?

Colonial capitalism tells us that humans are consumers, objectifying and exploiting each other and the natural world. But this is a distorted and limited view. It’s one that we all suffer from, and one that, frankly. Is boring and disempowering.

The truth is we need the earth and all of the beings in our ecosystems, and our ecosystems need us. We are all one family, and we have the capacity to positively affect one another.

In this workshop we will cover the basic skills for supporting trees with homeopathy, and we will initiate a healing process that you will witness unfolding in some way over time.

I am not a trained homeopath. I do have extensive experience with homeopathic remedies for myself and my critters, and have found homeopathy to be one of the most powerful components for myself in healing from chronic illness. The homeopath I work with showed me how to make remedies for trees and gave me permission to pass on this form of no-cost/low-cost community and ecological care.

For me it is so important to include the larger circle of beings who give us life in this series on equity and healing.

Who Is this workshop for?

This workshop is for anyone who would like to explore a generative relationship with the standing beings in your life.

You do not need to have any background in homeopathy, or any belief in it for that matter, just a willingness to experiment with energy medicine and an openness to how you might be a healing presence in the web of life.

According to my homeopath, and according to my own experience, making remedies for trees supports our own healing journey and offers us a rich experience of interconnection and transformation.

What this workshop will include

-experiential explorations of presence and our connection and communication with trees

-an introduction to homeopathic principles

-instructions for “backwoods homeopathy” as a means to support the life force of the ecosystem

-hands-on practice of making a homeopathic remedy

-discussion and sharing

What you will need to bring (there will be a break to gather these if you don't have them with you at the start of the workshop)

-a tree friend you would like to make a remedy for and who would like to receive a remedy

-a container that is glass or plastic - I use old peanut butter jars

-about a gallon of water, preferably filtered but any water is fine - remember this is backwoods homeopathy, not brain surgery

Optional:

-a glass dropper bottle (preferably blue or brown) and a label sticker if you would like to save some of the remedy

-a small amount of vinegar high-proof alcohol for preserving the remedy

-extra containers for an easy place to pour off the excess water
