Yukonstruct is proud to offer our Maker Madness: March Break Camps! Participating youth will have the opportunity dive into exciting STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) activities. They’ll learn how to use Yukonstruct’s rapid prototyping machines, spend time working with tools in our workshops, and more. This year, two sessions are being offered:
March 9th - 13th, 2026
March 16th - 20th, 2026
There will be significant overlap in the activities planned for each week.
Daily themes and a highly interactive and engaging curriculum will encourage your children to try new things and think outside the box. Thus they will have plenty of opportunities to build resilience and self confidence.
With a passion for youth and science, our Maker Mentors recognize the uniqueness of your child and fosters their creative side and joy for STEAM. Maker Mentors are trained to have students focus on the why and discover the logic behind the activity instead of following a prescriptive set of instructions. With a 4 to 1 child to staff ratio and a focus on collaborative problem solving our classes are designed for your child to actively participate.
Give your kids the opportunity to discover STEAM in a safe and fun environment!
9:00am - 3:30pm, early drop off at 8:30am. Please ensure your child comes with a lunch, lots of snacks and clothes that can get dirty. Closed-toe shoes are also essential. At times when working in the metal shop, clothes made in a natural fiber (cotton, wool, linen, denim, etc.) will be required as synthetic fibers and decorations (polyester, acrylic, nylon, etc.) may melt and pose a risk.
This program is for children ages 10-15.
This camp is powered by Northwestel.
