About this Event
Listening, truly listening, is difficult. Even more challenging is taking action after listening.
For the past five years, two TCU researchers have studied the challenge of bridging the gap between listening and taking action. They found residents believe policymakers should listen to constituents with more intention and be held accountable for inaction.
Fort Worth Report invites you to be a part of the solution. Our third annual listening event will give you the opportunity to speak your mind on important issues to civic and community leaders. We’ll listen to and learn from each other, and highlight stories that come out of the event throughout the year.
We’ll choose 20 popular topics, you will choose your topic at the event (first-come-first-served as tables fill quickly) and trained facilitators will guide you through a thoughtful, substantive discussion that allows many voices to be heard.
Breakfast bites and beverages will be served.
