Learn how to weave a rag rug from Alaskan Rug Artisan, Karen Kuchinski, from Happy Valley—she is a rustic weaver with a passion for sustainability and storytelling. Karen will help you transform repurposed fabrics, weathered textiles and even ethically sourced fur pieces into functional works of art. No two rugs are alike. This class fee includes a kit with variety of fabrics, use of beautiful loom (that has already been warped) and hours of relaxing weaving. Dress comfortably and please bring a pair of scissors.
Class size is limited to four people (minimum and maximum) to allow for individual attention.
