Ready to turn yarn into bold, fuzzy art magic? Come hang out in the studio and learn the wildly satisfying art of tufting with Yarn Rambo!
Whether you’re a total beginner or already plotting your fiber-art villain era, this hands-on workshop walks you through the full tufting process using a professional tufting machine, vibrant yarn colors, and your own creativity.
You’ll create your own tufted piece using one of these options:
- Freehand your own simple design
- Bring a design to work from
- Add Design Assistance and have Yarn Rambo prep your design ahead of time
- Select from occasional themed workshop designs
⚠️ Tufting is done from the BACK side of the artwork, meaning your design must be tufted in reverse/mirror image. Simpler, bold designs work best!
Workshop Includes
- Tufting machine use
- Frame and workspace access
- Huge variety of wool yarn colors
- Guidance throughout the process
- Use of studio tools and supplies
- A fantastic amount of fiber confetti energy ✨
Size & Project Details
- Tufting area accommodates pieces up to approximately 24” x 24”
- You may divide your space into multiple smaller pieces if desired
- Workshops are relaxed and beginner-friendly
- Most attendees complete at least one finished tufted piece during the session
Backing & Finishing Options
Attendees are responsible for their own final backing/mounting choice.
Recommended options:
- Bring your own stretched canvas or wood panel to mount your art
- Leave your piece with Yarn Rambo for professional rug binding (available as an add-on)
Professional binding is completed through E&T Rugs and typically takes 4–6 weeks for turnaround.
