Learn to make a T-Shirt Quilt for a very special gift or to keep special memories alive. Capture the things they love and special activities/places in a T-Shirt Quilt!!
Supplies: ♦ Your T-shirts of course! (no sewing machine needed for Class 1)
♦ T-Shirt Quilt Pattern by Eleanor Burns
♦ Pellon Easy Knit Fusible Interfacing (enough to cover the backs of your t-shirt blocks)
♦ Fabric Scissors
♦ 16”or 16 ½” Square Ruler
♦ 6 x 24” Quilting Ruler
♦ Iron and Ironing Pad
♦ Pressing Cloth or T-shirt pressing cloth
♦ Rotary cutter (with a new *blade in it!)
♦ Rotary cutting mat
♦ Pins
♦ Extension cord for iron
♦ Paper, pencil and calculator
For Class 2:
♦ Fabric Yardage Listed on Pattern Sheet (see below)
♦ Fabric 1: 3 yards of fabric for Sashing, third Border and binding
♦ Fabric 2: ½ yard of fabric for Cornerstones (optional) & Second Border (Optional)
♦ Fabric 3: ½ yard of fabric for First Border (optional)
NOTE: We will discuss fabrics at the first class. The fabrics aren’t needed until class 2
♦ Sewing machine (Don't forget the power supply and foot pedal! If you have a 1/4” foot, bring it.)
♦ Sewing supplies
*Thread – color that will blend with your fabrics. I recommend *Aurifil in a cream color.
Bobbins – it's best to fill several bobbins with the appropriate color thread prior to class
*Seam ripper

Please note: Quilt With Passion is respectful of pattern designers and their copyright statements. Each student and teacher must have a separate and original copy of the book, pattern or tool if required for a class as per the supply list. Quilt With Passion will respectfully decline any request to make photocopies unless permission is granted from the designer for a specific purpose.
Class Cancellation/Make-Up Information: If you must cancel a class, please do so at least 7 days before the start of the class. Refunds for these cancellations will be issued in the form of a Quilt With Passion store credit. Store credit may also be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of class if the space is filled by another student. If a class is missed, make up classes may be held at a Sewing School or by arrangements with the instructor to sit in on another class. Make ups must be held within three months of the original class.
